When I was up in Spokane for my Gramma’s memorial, I took photographs of her house inside and outside so that I could have them for my memories. I realized how important it is to photograph the places we love while we are there so that if and when we leave them, we can still have a reminder of them beyond just our memories. I decided to spend the last couple of months that we have in this house photographing things inside and outside.
I love our house so much and it is one of the hardest parts of saying good-bye to Wichita. We have loved and grown and shared so much in this house and it is truly home to me. Thinking about the fact that someone else will own it in just a few weeks or less makes me so sad so I try not to think about it, and instead focus on the future. But it’s hard!
