I thought today would be a wonderful day to go to the zoo, because yesterday was so nice but I had a shoot.
I was wrong. It was windy and chilly. But we still had a good time, and that’s all that matters! I packed lunch for us and we ate it in a gazebo while a couple of geese stood only a couple feet away, hoping we would give them some scraps. We saw flamingos, reptiles, giraffes, camels, goats and sheep, horses and mules, and chimpanzees and orangutans. On our way out we always stop at the gift shop and get her a toy that represented the trip for the day. She chose a little plastic giraffe.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip today!
All shot with my Canon 6D and Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 lens.
These were all edited in Lightroom using Greater Than Gatsby’s Darkroom Collection – Austen preset + tweaks.
