One of Terrill’s best friends (and his sister’s husband) retired from the Air Force and so we headed up to Illinois for his retirement and to visit and explore the area. One night we drove by this little herd of Highlanders but it was late, so we went the next evening so I could photograph them. They were so curious about us! I only wish the light was a little better, but I’ll take the overcast.
We also drove by the St Louis Arch on our way home and we pulled over so I could grab a few photos from the car window. I was anxious to get home so I didn’t want to get out and try some different photos, plus it was still rainy and overcast that day so the light wasn’t ideal.
Oh, and there was a llama living with the Highlanders as well!
