We came up to Ericson to celebrate Independence Day and spend the long weekend with my husband’s family. We had plans to set off some little fireworks on the 4th in the front yard of my in-laws house, but plans changed when a storm rushed in while we were eating dinner and a strong gust of wind blew half a tree down on to my mother in law’s vehicle. It smashed in the windshield and frame around the windshield, and dented the hood up pretty good! Then it rained so hard that there was no chance of trying to salvage the evening with fireworks after that.
Last night my husband and I drove out to Pitzer Ranch so I could photograph the horses in their pasture. Here are some of the photographs, as well as some landscapes, cows and more. Enjoy!
